The Grant for Oncology Innovation (GOI) is an initiative funded by EMD Serono, a subsidiary of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, to identify and support innovative projects to advance research on personalized treatment for solid tumors.
The grant program was launched to coincide with the European Cancer Congress (ECCO-ESMO-ESTRO) in Amsterdam, 27 Sept - 1 Oct 2013.
The three winners of the first GOI award were announced during an Award Ceremony that took place in Madrid, Spain on Friday September 26, 2014.
