DOD/DARPA: Biological Technologies – Abstracts

(Abstracts and full proposals accepted on a rolling basis until deadline)

Revolutionary research in various areas such as: neuroscience, psychology, cognitive science; interfaces between the biological and physical world; rules that govern biological system behavior; forward engineering of biological systems; new platform technologies for collection, processing, and analysis of biological samples; ecological diversity, support for human operations in extreme environments, computational models for collective and interactive behaviors of biological organisms at all scales from individual cells to global ecosystems, population and ecosystem behavior; technologies for agricultural ecosystems; non-human biology across and between populations of microbes, insects, plants, marine life; biosafety and biosecurity; threats to food and water supplies and countermeasures; infectious diseases. (Abstracts should be submitted in advance of deadline, to allow time for response and proposal submission)
