Breakthrough research according to these Regulations is distinguished by a high potential for shifting or invalidating paradigms. This type of research questions or goes beyond existing models, theories, doctrines, research approaches, methods, etc. Funding period: 1-4 years. One of the research groups may be outside Switzerland if the expertise is required.
