Alpha-1 Foundation: Research grants– letter of intent

Funds various types of awards:

Pilot and Feasibility Grant ($75,000/1 yr) to encourage development of new hypothesis or new methods;

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Grant ($75,000 per yr/2 years) for those postdocs setting pursuing careers in AAT research;

Research Grant ($100,000 per yr/2 yrs) for projects that contribute to basic understanding of the biology of AAT;

Scientific Meeting Sponsorship Grant ($5,000) supports scientific meetings/workshops/conferences;

Travel Grant ($1,000) travel to attend cross training or travel to attend conference/meeting.
